- We are NOT a hospital, clinic, or medical practice
- We do NOT employ doctors, nurses, or medical staff
- We CANNOT prescribe medications, order tests, or provide diagnoses
- We DO provide: translation, navigation, appointment scheduling, and administrative support
- You MUST consult licensed medical professionals for all healthcare decisions
Beijing Medical Concierge is NOT a medical provider. We are a medical advocacy and navigation service. We do NOT diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Beijing Medical Concierge services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.
These Terms apply to all users, including international patients seeking medical care in Beijing, China.
2. Description of Service
Beijing Medical Concierge provides:
- Medical Navigation: Help finding appropriate hospitals and specialists in Beijing
- Translation Services: Language interpretation during medical appointments
- Appointment Coordination: Scheduling and managing hospital visits
- Cultural Mediation: Bridging communication between international patients and Chinese healthcare providers
- Administrative Support: Assistance with registration, payment, and prescription pickup
We do NOT provide: Medical diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or medical advice of any kind.
3. No Medical Advice Disclaimer
- We are NOT doctors, nurses, or licensed medical professionals
- Nothing in our Service constitutes medical advice
- Always consult with qualified healthcare providers for medical decisions
- We do not recommend specific treatments, medications, or procedures
- Hospital and doctor recommendations are based on availability and your stated needs, not medical judgment
4. User Responsibilities
As a user of our Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your medical condition and needs
- Disclose all relevant medical history to your treating physicians
- Follow the medical advice of licensed healthcare providers
- Inform us of any changes to your condition or treatment plan
- Take responsibility for all medical decisions you make
- Have appropriate travel and medical insurance for your visit to China
5. Payment Terms
Consultation Fee: $20 USD (deductible from any service package)
Service Packages:
- Standard Package: $800 USD
- Full Care Package: $2,500 USD
- À la carte services: $100-$450 USD per 4 hours
Payment Methods: PayPal, WeChat Pay, Alipay, Bank Transfer
Payment Timing: Full payment required before service delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing
Medical Costs NOT Included: Hospital fees, doctor fees, medications, tests, and procedures are paid separately by you directly to the healthcare provider
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Consultation Fee ($20): Non-refundable once consultation is provided
Service Packages - Tiered Refund:
- Cancel 14+ days before scheduled service: Full refund (100%)
- Cancel 7-13 days before: 75% refund
- Cancel 3-6 days before: 50% refund
- Cancel less than 3 days before: No refund (0%)
Refund Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method. Actual credit timing depends on your bank or payment provider.
Force Majeure: No refund for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (hospital closures, government restrictions, natural disasters, pandemics)
Service Failure Protection: If we fail to deliver the agreed service (e.g., concierge no-show, service duration shortage), you are entitled to a full refund for the undelivered portion.

7. Limitation of Liability
- We are NOT liable for medical outcomes, complications, or treatment results
- We are NOT liable for hospital or doctor errors, negligence, or malpractice
- We are NOT liable for travel delays, visa issues, or flight cancellations
- We are NOT liable for changes in hospital availability or doctor schedules
- We are NOT liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost wages, additional travel costs, or emotional distress)
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services
8. No Guarantee of Results
We do NOT guarantee:
- Specific medical outcomes or treatment success
- Availability of specific doctors or hospitals
- Visa approval or entry into China
- Insurance coverage or reimbursement
- Specific appointment times (subject to hospital availability)
9. Third-Party Services
Our Service may involve third-party providers (hospitals, doctors, translators, transportation):
- We are not responsible for third-party service quality or availability
- You enter into separate agreements with healthcare providers
- We do not endorse or guarantee third-party services
- Any disputes with third parties must be resolved directly with them
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters, earthquakes, floods
- Pandemics, epidemics, quarantines
- Government actions, travel restrictions, visa denials
- Hospital closures, strikes, or emergencies
- Internet outages, technical failures
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
Dispute Resolution Process: Any disputes shall be resolved through the following steps:
- Good-Faith Negotiation: Parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through direct negotiation within 14 days
- Mediation: If negotiation fails, parties agree to participate in mediation through a mutually agreed mediator
- Litigation: If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Beijing, China
Language: All legal proceedings shall be conducted in Chinese. English translations may be provided for your convenience but the Chinese version shall prevail.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective 7 days after posting on this page. We will update the "Last Updated" date to reflect changes.
For significant changes (e.g., price increases, material changes to services), we will notify you by email if you have an active booking.
Your continued use of the Service after 7 days constitutes acceptance of modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and may request a refund per Section 6.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our Service at any time, for any reason, including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Non-payment of fees
- Safety concerns for our staff or other patients
14. Service Eligibility Restrictions
We reserve the right to decline service for:
- Patients with active contagious diseases (e.g., active tuberculosis, COVID-19 during quarantine period)
- Patients requiring specialized psychiatric care or suicide watch
- Patients under the influence of drugs or alcohol at time of service
- Patients who have previously violated our Terms or abused our staff
- Medical conditions beyond our coordination capabilities (we will refer you to appropriate specialists)
If we decline service after payment, you will receive a full refund.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Emergency Medical Situations
We are NOT equipped to handle medical emergencies. Our services are for non-emergency medical coordination only. Emergency services in China:
- Ambulance: 120
- Police: 110
- Fire: 119
17. Patient Health Warranty
By using our Service, you warrant that:
- You are physically and mentally fit to travel to China
- You are fit to undergo medical treatment as advised by your local physician
- You have disclosed all relevant medical conditions to us and your treating physicians
- You have appropriate travel insurance that covers medical treatment abroad
18. Translation Services Disclaimer
Our translation services are provided for communication facilitation only:
- We do NOT guarantee 100% accuracy of medical terminology translation
- Important medical decisions should be confirmed in writing by your healthcare provider
- We recommend bringing a trusted companion for critical consultations
- We are not liable for misunderstandings due to translation limitations
19. Companion Policy
You may bring companions to your appointments:
- Standard: One companion allowed per appointment (included in service)
- Additional companions: Require prior approval and may incur extra fees ($50/hour per additional person)
- Companions must respect hospital rules and our staff's instructions
20. Service Hours
Business Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Beijing Time (GMT+8), Monday - Saturday
Exclusions: Chinese public holidays (Spring Festival, National Day, etc.)
After-Hours Service: Available for emergencies only with 50% surcharge ($75/hour minimum 2 hours)
Response Time: Within 2 hours during business hours; within 6 hours outside business hours

- You have appropriate travel and medical insurance
- You are physically fit to travel and undergo medical treatment in China
- In case of medical emergency, you will call 120 immediately
